These hoops take the same elongated, base-weighted shape as a plain teardrop hoop, swelling toward the base and tapering back at the hinge, but rather than a smooth polish, the entire surface is cut with a fine diamond-cut texture. Instead of one continuous reflective curve, the hoop breaks into hundreds of tiny facets, each catching light independently as it moves.
The effect is a hoop with real sparkle despite having no stones set into it; the texture itself does the work a gemstone usually would. Hinged fastening keeps them practical for everyday wear, even with the added surface detail.
