This necklace pairs two distinct textures in a single design: smooth, polished oval links carrying the weight at the front, and smaller twisted rope-textured circles woven in between them. It's a deliberate contrast: the ovals give the chain its clean, substantial look, while the rope links add a bit of grain and movement, so the eye keeps moving rather than settling on one flat surface.
The chain graduates as it moves back from the centre, tapering into a finer cable link toward the clasp. That means you get the visual impact of a bold, statement-style chain at the front, without the weight of it wrapping all the way round your neck.
